What is the Summer Mobile Club?
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Johnson County is bringing the Club experience directly into local communities this summer through fun, hands-on activities, games, STEM projects, and relationship-building opportunities for youth.
Who can attend?
The program is open to students entering 1st–5th grade.
How much does it cost?
The program is completely free to attend.
What dates does the program run?
The Summer Mobile Club runs from May 26th–July 31st.
Where are the programs located?
Programs will rotate between three community locations:
Trafalgar Community Center
335 Pleasant St, Trafalgar
Mondays | 9AM–1PM
Clark Pleasant Library
350 Clearwater Blvd, Whiteland
Tuesdays | 1PM–3PM
White River Library
1664 Library Blvd, Greenwood
Tuesdays | 1PM–3PM
Do kids need to attend every session?
No. Families can attend the sessions that work best for their schedule.
Is registration required?
Yes. Families should scan the QR code on the flyer to register in advance.
What kinds of activities will kids do?
Activities may include:
STEM projects
Team-building games
Crafts and creative activities
Physical activity and wellness games
Club-style enrichment activities
Leadership and friendship-building experiences
Is lunch provided?
Lunch is served weekly at the Trafalgar Community Center location only.
What should my child bring?
We recommend bringing:
A water bottle
Comfortable clothes
A positive attitude and willingness to participate
Are parents required to stay?
Parents are welcome to stay, but are not required.
Is this the same as the Boys & Girls Club in Franklin?
This is a mobile version of the Boys & Girls Club experience designed to bring programming directly into communities across Johnson County.
What if my child has never attended the Club before?
That’s perfectly okay! New students are welcome and encouraged to join.
Will there be Boys & Girls Club staff there?
Yes. Programs are led and supervised by Boys & Girls Clubs staff.
What is the goal of the Mobile Club?
The goal is to expand opportunities for local youth by bringing safe, engaging, and enriching programs into more Johnson County communities.
What makes this different from a typical summer activity?
The Mobile Club combines fun with meaningful skill-building, mentoring, and hands-on learning in a positive environment.
What if my child is shy or nervous?
That’s very common! Staff work hard to create a welcoming environment where kids can make friends, feel included, and build confidence.
Can siblings attend together?
Yes, as long as they are within the 1st–5th grade age range.
