Our programs in Sports, Fitness & Recreation are designed to help keep our members active while promoting a positive use of leisure time, developing their athleticism, teaching them skills for stress management, instilling an appreciation for the environment, and strengthening their social skills through their participation in team-oriented activities.
We offer Recreational Sports Leagues including: Basketball, Soccer and Futsal. Team sports help our members develop a sense of belonging and commitment to others. They also teach our members how to set goals and work together to achieve milestones through bench-marking and persistence.
Join the Boys & Girls Clubs of Johnson County for our exciting Spring and Fall Outdoor Soccer Sessions, designed for youth ages 3-12. Each session costs $65 per player. All games are played at Webb Elementary Fields, 1400 Webb Ct. Franklin Indiana, 46131.
Futsal is soccer that is played on a hard surface such as a basketball court. Emphasizes creativity and quick decision-making. Futsal uses a smaller, less bouncy ball. Teams will consist of no more than 6 players. 3 players on the field at once (3v3). Time duration will be two 12 min. halves. FUN & Fundamentals is the main emphasis of the league.
Coaching at Boys & Girls Clubs of Johnson County is led by dedicated volunteers who are passionate about mentoring and teaching youth. By volunteering as a coach, you have the opportunity to give back to the community, inspire young athletes, and make a lasting impact on their lives.
